Our mission is to provide a place where individuals, families, and groups can come to unplug from the world and plug into what really matters: connection with God, self, and others. Located in the majestic White Mountains of mid-eastern Arizona, this 40-acre ranch is a place so beautiful that inspiration is found everywhere. It is vast and quiet, with an abundance of space to heal, de-stress, reset, restore, bond with friends and family, and hear from God.
This is a place of deep soul care.
As a non-profit we are committed to come alongside individuals and families by providing the opportunity to recharge and take a much-needed break for mental health care without the financial burden. The list of those who can benefit from this level of soul care is endless: pastors, foster care families, special needs families, most vulnerable people, first responders, and caregivers.
The ranch is also a wonderful place for family reunions, team building events, athletic team camps, yoga and health and wellness retreats, and birthday parties for all ages.
Everyone needs a reset now and then.
Everyone needs soul care.
Everything we do in life needs to start with respect. If we respect the need for community, self-care, compassion, empathy, serving others, unity and God, we find that life itself is balanced.
We aim to make everyone feel welcome, included and noticed. You may come to PMRC knowing no one, but you will leave feeling a sense of community. Each visit will be filled with an opportunity to make a memory and make a friend.
Everyone needs a break now and then, a reset, a pause. When we have physical issues, we go to a doctor. But so often the needs of our spirit, and soul are neglected. When our soul is tired, we tend to muscle through the season. PMRC wants to come along side those who need to push the pause button on day-to-day challenges with opportunities to heal, grow, breathe and become.
Until you have walked in another person's shoes, you cannot fully comprehend the level of compassion one needs. We feel compelled to allow your story to touch our soul so we can provide you the level of compassion you deserve.
We see you.
PMRC is committed to assuring each person who comes to reset, reconnect, rejuvenate their soul feels seen, understood and noticed. We are a place that welcomes you exactly as you are. A place where you can simply be.
Where would this world be without those willing to serve others? People are designed to help people. It allows your soul to connect and feel the world around you. PMRC welcomes those who would like to come and share their skills and time to continue to create and build PMRC into a place of recovery for mind, body, and spirit.
In late May of 2022, my husband and I went looking for a little piece of land where we could build a small family retreat for our large and growing family. But God had bigger plans: 40-acre bigger plans! A day before we were going to make a bid on a property, we were made aware that a lot more land than we were looking for might be available at an affordable price if someone could do some good Christian work on the land. We contacted the Dream Center, which owned the land, and with their help and that of some very good friends, we were able to GOD size our little family retreat into a retreat that can serve a whole lot of God's family.
